Acting President Agnès Durdu expresses solidarity after Nice attack

Our acting Group President Agnès Durdu (LU / DP) expressed her solidarity after the attacks in Nice, France of 14 July 2016.

“I would like to express my solidarity with the people of France after the recent horrible events and my support for the mayor of Nice and other local authorities in this difficult situation. We must continue our efforts to tackle radicalisation, and the opinion of Bart Somers approved in the Committee of the Regions is one of the many instruments we can use to try to prevent these terrible tragedies.”
