Plenary – Renew Europe CoR on Equality, Crisis response and “Do no harm Cohesion”

At the European Committee of the Regions Plenary, our members discussed promoting equality, diversity and inclusion at the local and regional level with Magali Altounian, preparing for and dealing with crisis with Nicola Caputo and a mid-term review of the Multiannual Financial Framework, with Michiel Rijsberman also presenting his report on “Do no harm cohesion”.

Renew Europe CoR Group Meeting

At our group meeting we bid farewell to our Vice President Michiel Rijsberman, who is leaving regional politics as outgoing regional Minister for the Dutch Province of Flevoland. Rijsberman was the author of several reports on EU funds and cohesion policy. 

The group debated With Susan Solis MEP (Renew Europe) on the future of the automotive industry with Robert Van Asten (D66- Den Haag) participating from the Netherlands, as well as reconstruction of Ukraine and the upcoming ALDE Party Congress.
